ROLF: Green Ribbon Campaign – For Environmental Education

Green Ribbon Campaign was launched in May, 2011 to educate the children about their environment. We are taking essential steps to connect them to the nature, to conserve the green heritage for today and the future generation and at the same time, to educate them to stay away from smoking or using drugs and other tobacco products.

ROLF Green Ribbon Campaign supports and promotes outdoor activities that are educational and fun for the underprivileged children:

  1. To enhance children’s outdoor experience through training on wilderness living and teach them the survival skills.
  2. To help the children understand and appreciate our country’s natural resources. By building the strong bonding between the children and the nature, we teach the children how to love and protect the green.
  3. To encourage the children to adopt the habit of walking, jogging, bicycle riding and enjoy the health benefits of outdoor activities.
  4. To educate the children on the dangers of using tobacco and let the children say NO to it.
  5. To provide an opportunity and platform for the youth to participate in community service projects and to support the underprivileged and orphaned children.

生命的彩虹之绿丝带 – 绿色环保教育计划

2011年5月我们推介了生命的彩虹绿丝带运动之绿色环保教育计划。 此运动的宗旨是希望孩子可以透过大自然环境,提高环保意识和了解爱护绿色的重要.同时,此活动也警惕小朋友毒品的危害性，教育他们远离毒品和杜绝吸烟等不良嗜好。

生命的彩虹希望可以透过户外活动的方式：

  1. 让小朋友有机会体验户外活动，并教育他们基本生存知识和技能。
  2. 帮助小朋友认识和了解我国的大自然环境和资源, 希望他们可以透过和自然环境的接触，学习如何爱绿和护绿。
  3. 鼓励孩子多做的户外运动如步行，慢跑，骑脚车等有益健康的运动。
  4. 警惕小朋友烟草的危害性并杜绝吸烟。
  5. 为青少年提供一个平台，让他们有机会参与社区服务活动并且帮助一些不幸的孩子。
