HELP University College students under the American Degree Program have discovered the plight of Rainbow of Life Forces (ROLF) – Blue Ribbon Campaign, and thought that their fellow students should also be informed of this noble cause. To do so, they have organised an awareness event on their campus.

ROLF – Blue Ribbon Campaign (BRC) is a humble charity event that seeks to raise the public’s awareness of childhood cancer, and the plight of the children who suffer from it. Operating under the Rainbow of Life Forces (ROLF), where each colour of the rainbow represents a specific cause of affliction in the lives of children in Malaysia, this is the most well known of their nation wide campaigns.

Their All-Star ROLF Cup in 2007 gathered celebrities from Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore to play against each other in a series of friendly football matches in an effort to bring awareness to the ROLF cause, as well as their BRC Tree of Love campaign where more than 100,000 of their signature coin boxes were distributed across the country for small donations, which were then equally allocated to their various charities.

On Wednesday the 26th of March, from 12 to 2 pm, the KPD campus on Jalan Dungun will become a hive of activity. The space before Block A will become a miniature exhibition area, with display boards presenting information relevant to the campaign and their causes. The trademark coin boxes will also be available for donations.

There will also be a fun Q&A session conducted during this time, where questions and answers are based on the information in the exhibition. Every correct answer is awarded with a goodie bag.
