FOUNDER’S MESSAGE

For 20 years, the Rainbow of Life Forces Campaign (ROLF) has inspired hope, nurtured dreams and turned compassion into action, guided by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to dream, grow and build a better future.

ROLF comprises 7 Ribbon Campaigns supporting underprivileged children and teenagers facing different challenges. Among them, the Gold Ribbon Grant A Wish Campaign and Orange Ribbon Youth Social Responsibility Campaign (YSR) have traditionally taken center stage at our annual events, alongside five other campaigns addressing diverse community needs.

To date, Gold Ribbon has fulfilled more than 12,000 wishes worldwide, bringing joy and hope to children. Since 2007, Orange Ribbon has nurtured university students through youth social responsibility, with many graduates continuing to contribute. These achievements demonstrate how kindness can inspire generations to give back.

Our 20th Anniversary: From Giving to Empowering

As ROLF celebrates its 20th anniversary, we reflect with gratitude on two decades of granting wishes and creating meaningful experiences. Looking ahead, we believe our journey must go beyond giving. From this year onward, we will place greater emphasis on empowering marginalized children and youth with practical work skills, guidance and opportunities to build a better future.

As the saying goes, “Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to fish and you feed them for a lifetime.” We will continue making dreams come true while helping young people discover their strengths, develop their abilities and gain the confidence to shape their futures independently.

Beyond Granting Wishes: Raising ADHD Awareness

Alongside Gold Ribbon, our Blue Ribbon Campaign will spotlight ADHD, a condition affecting millions of children and young people worldwide. According to the 2021 Global Burden of Disease estimates, approximately 46.9 million people under the age of 20 were living with ADHD globally.

Behind every statistic is a child or teenager deserving understanding, acceptance and support, not judgment. Through ADHD awareness, educational and community programs, we aim to reduce stigma and foster understanding among parents, educators, caregivers and young people. We also hope to bring doctors and specialists together through forums to share knowledge, practical learning strategies, technology, real-life experiences and opportunities to support children and their families. Through collective action, we aspire to create a more inclusive environment where children with ADHD are encouraged and given the opportunity to thrive.

Our Vision for the Next 20 Years: Creating Possibilities

Our greatest ambition is to move from giving to empowering, from helping to enabling, and from granting wishes to creating possibilities.
Because a wish can be more than a gift. A wish can open a door. A skill can create an opportunity. An opportunity can change a life.

Join Us in Making Wishes Come True

The ROLF Gold Ribbon Grant A Wish Campaign 2026 begins on 1 November 2026, followed by a one-month Wish Matching process. The Gift Handover Ceremony and Donor-Meet-Children Session will take place on 12 December 2026 at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, Malaysia. We warmly welcome compassionate donors and volunteers to join us in bringing smiles, fulfilling dreams and inspiring hope. Every wish granted reminds a child that someone cares. Every act of kindness brings us closer, and every opportunity created can make a lasting difference.

Together, we can make this world a more beautiful place to live.
ROLF On!

With gratitude,
Adelyn Lim
