WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

Two Categories :
Category 1: Underprivileged children from orphanages

Category 2: Orphans who are handicapped or disabled – physical or mental

  • Orphans who are under the age of 18.
  • The wish must be truly a child’s wish. For those children who are unable to decide on their wishes, their legal guardians can help them to do so.
  • The child’s wish must be pre-approved by the Board of the participating orphanages before the Wish Lists are sent to ROLF.
  • Orphanages must be registered with Registry of Society (ROS) Malaysia (Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Malaysia or Society Welfare Department of Malaysia).

WHAT CAN A CHILD WISH FOR:

CATEGORY 1: UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN FROM ORPHANAGES

  • Toys and Games
  • Books and Stationery
  • School Bags and School Uniforms
  • Musical Instrument
  • Art Supplies
  • Personal Accessories such as Clothing and Footwear
  • Vitamins / food supplement
  • Toiletries

(Notice: The monetary value of each gift cannot exceed RM300. Children are not allowed to ask for cash.)

CATEGORY 2: ORPHANS WHO ARE HANDICAPPED OR DISABLED – PHYSICAL OR MENTAL
The orphanages can request for:

  • Food: rice, cooking oil, condiment, canned food, vegetables, fruits, etc.
  • Cookware
  • Home electrical appliances (must specify the purposes)
  • Beds, blankets, mattresses, bedspreads, pillows and etc
  • Medical mobility aids
  • Bathroom aids and safety equipment
  • Oxygen & respiratory care products, feeding & urological supplies
  • Medicine and health product supplements
  • Equipment for physiotherapy
  • Hearing, Reading and Learning Aids

HOW THE PUBLIC CAN PARTICIPATE:

  • Children make wishes and ROLF will publish the wish list on ROLF’s official website – www.rolfcommunity.org and in ROLF’s Booklets starting from 6th November, 2018.
  • ROLF will look for public and corporate donors to match those wishes. Donors can register and submit the Grant-A-Wish form online no later than 14th December, 2018.
  • ROLF will verify the applications and send confirmation notice to the donors.
  • Donors are allowed to grant the wishes under their names or bestow it “in Honor of” or “in Memory of” family members or friends.
